i decided to finally make red velvet cupcakes today, but it turns out you need more than half a bottle of red food coloring to really make them red! now i know and can make REALLY red velvet cupcakes another day.
they're tasty, at least, and have pretty pink frosting!
red velvet cake is the best thing ever to involve the word "cake" !! If there was a "cake pie" then it would be second. But there isn't. (MIke)

ReplyDeletepoint taken--v-day is an excellent time to try and make actual red cupcakes and pawn them off on co-workers. my schedule, unfortunately, doesn't allow it this year, but rest assured that you will eat cupcakes eventually!
