damn you, gawker!

Great! Now I'm going to feel all guilty when I buy and immediately read the final book in the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series. (It comes out on Tuesday!)

  1. haha, that's great. i read that article in the new york times this morning, but i didn't really know anything about the author enough to hate on her. she has a great house, though.

i only recently started looking at gawker, because apparently they have an entire section devoted to hating on this girl that i graduated from college with. apparently she writes this really irritating blog about how she's a food whore or something. uplifting stuff.

  2. dang, so if i wrote a really irritating blog i'd be famous too? i guess i'll have to work on that.

i was going to say something here about an erstwhile college classmate who's become slightly famous himself, but . . . it's not like he needs the extra press.

  3. aw shoot. I was hoping that gawker was hating on that julie and julia idiot.

and egads - if I were the gal who came up with the concept, fleshed out the characters, and then....got to watch as someone else wrote the book(s) and collected the money, I'd be pretty bitter.
