Is this on the northeast coast ?
It's either in Hilton Head or in Western PA--my dad doesn't upload pictures regularly.
my bird source says: We think it is a shorebird or a wader given the long legs and beak but are unable to get exact ID. It may be it is a seasonal variation of a tattler or a dunlin or a similar bird. That sounds useless to me. But what do I know?
Update: This was taken at a nature preserve in Florida.
