Nina Kiriki Hoffman's Fall of Light
Oh my god, was this book terrible. It starts off with an interesting concept--a makeup artist with magical powers is in love with the actor she works on, only he gets possessed by some local magical thing--but it just got worse and worse as it went on, until the totally ridiculous and anti-climactic ending.
