Helene Wecker’s The Hidden Palace
I really didn’t remember a thing about this book, maybe because there is a LOT going on in it (including a cameo from Lawrence of Arabia, lol)? It does make things move much more quickly than the first one, but I wasn’t really invested in it. Still a pleasant read though! We’ll see how the new one is. A-/B+.
