Catherine Newman’s Wreck
I loved Sandwich, but was not super into this follow-up. The narrator is dealing with a medical problem and also thinking too much about the death of a local man who was classmates with her son. There wasn’t as much humor here (obviously) and I really missed it. It’s well-written but I just didn’t vibe with it! B+.
