Looks like he figured out how to look out the window! We have a window like that (where the ledge isn't big enough for a cat to sit), and we bought a perch that you can attach to the ledge. Jiji loves it!
Well, he's just sitting on a table there. :) He also has a scratching post with a little ledge on it that I have by a window upstairs and he was looking out that at some ungodly hour this morning. But yeah, those are the best; he sat on that in my old apt all the time.
