i actually am glad i'm not ayelet waldman--if i was a writer married to michael chabon, i would have constant feelings of inadequacy. :) she seems to handle it with a large amount of grace.
i love her name too! hebrew names are awesome. i think their kids have such cute names too--few people could pull off having a daughter named ida-rose, but ayelet and michael? yeah. they've got it down.
i've also never read any of her books, but she has a pretty cool short story in one of the mcsweeney's books (the one michael chabon edited, in fact--yay nepotism!).

I've read her blog before, though, and I find it very uncomfortable...a little too personal for my tastes.
