i actually held out on responding to your email, convinced i had a Q author on my shelves and could pass a name along--but i was wrong! Q is the lost letter of authors, apparently.
i can only think of amanda quick and joe queenan, neither of whom fit your book needs. i can't figure out why it's so hard to search for an author alphabetically.
