When I was a little girl growing up in Pittsburgh, a classmate's grandparents lived in Punxsutawney, and every year on groundhog's day, her grandmother brought us groundhog cookies, and every year I agonized over whether or not it was rude to take off the raisin eye before I ate one. (I hate raisins.) I think someday I'll make groundhog day cookies, and use chocolate chips for their adorable beady little eyes!
Speaking of baked goods, a (male) co-worker, upon eating one of my cupcakes, just told me that the man who finally catches me will be a very fat man. That's very sweet . . . I think.
PS. I am wearing these shoes today. HOT.

i had a college professor who claimed "groundhog day" was the only great comedy.
if you'll notice, bill murray's character plays a reporter from pittsburgh in that movie! see, i am a fan extraordinaire too! (not really, i just pay attention to pittsburgh-related moments in media).
On the subject of baked goods: Yesterday before leaving work I was nervously wondering how I would make it home without starving to death, and a dude from the warehouse came by and brought me a cookie. It was enormous, literally as big as a manhole cover. And its size was directly related to its flavor, for I was in ecstacy during the entire seven minutes it took me to eat the thing. He billed it as a chocolate chip cookie, but there was more to it than that. For instance, I detected several raisins, which I quite enjoyed. I hardly ever eat cookies or sweets, so moments like that are a rare pleasure, and I spent several hours afterwards reflecting on how good that cookie was.

groundhog day is one of my favorite movies of all time.
and you are a fabulous baker. perhaps you might marry a triathlete whose natural routine would burn off any extra calories :-)

Ooh, I hadn't thought of M&Ms! Although the cookies my classmate's grandmother made weren't huge, so M&M eyes would be a little out of proportion. They'd be more like huge gaping alien eyes.
Pinky--I am wearing those shoes right now, with a cute black skirt, a mint green top, and my favorite black cardigan that ties in the front. I'm also sporting black knee socks due to the weather, even though I generally avoid knee socks in my quest to avoid looking like a cross between a stereotypical librarian and a slutty schoolgirl. I am also wearing a red lip (as the chick on "How Do I Look?" likes to say).
I prefer eating small baked goods--less guilt that way!
