cartoons

I was all set to write something about this hilarious cartoon I've been watching called Total Drama Island (about a bunch of teens on a Survivor-type show) when I followed Jezebel's link to these comic strips about the earthquake in China. I highly recommend reading them, but several have actually made me cry, so maybe wait till you're at home.

It's actually Canadian, I think! Anyway, I really like the animation and it's just so silly. It's a spot-on parody of shows like survivor, with stereotypical teen characters (ditzy popular girl, bitchy popular girl, goth kid, sassy black girl, nerd, funny fat guy, etc). And I HATE shows like survivor (I barely even watched when someone I sort of knew was on one season of that) but it's so much funnier when it's a cartoon and the challenges are even sillier. Anyway, it seems to be on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9 on Cartoon Network if you want to catch it.
