i know!! i didn't think he was gay (i gussed the abuse thing a while ago and figured his issues stemmed from that) but i also had trouble with the evil mastermind thing. a little more explanation would have been nice. just like a little ranting monologue or something! b/c i was like, where on earth did THAT come from?? i was sure veronica was wrong till he pulled out the gun (and even then i thought maybe he was suicidal, not homicidal).
last season we really saw a lot of clues that aaron was a) a man-whore, and b) pretty violent and unbalanced, so that ending, while surprising, still made sense. i need to process this one a little bit more.
oh, i didn't think it was money in the briefcase--i figured it was photos of something HUGE she had evidence about (aaron's assassination, something to do with the fitzpatricks, or whatever). i really don't think money would have swayed him--unless he wanted the money so she could go to stanford.
This petition is supposedly going to go the the hew head of programming over at the CW network... sign it and save VM so we can find out what was in the briefcase!!! (Mike) :)
I got the impression VM was scripted as a two hour finale, but they had to give us the condensed version. There was just a lot of talking heads and things happening off camera when they would make very interesting scenes with guaranteed turning points.

Okay so I was paranoid for nothing...
Veronica Mars is going to be renewed!! So says head of programming at CW !

i'll keep my fingers crossed for an official renewal!!
i wonder if the dvd will have an extended version of the finale . . .which would probably address most of the problems i had with it.
