OK, I do have a soft spot for Magneto and all, but
this may be the darkest origin story EVER. Plus that's not why Xavier and Magneto become enemies . . . oh fine, I'll admit it: I want to see Magneto take down some Nazis with his amazing metal powers!!!! Bad-ASS. Also, more fuel for the "Jews and Comic Books" curriculum.

interesting. i guess if anyone could pull it off, it would be david goyer, who co-wrote "batman begins," my money for the best superhero movie yet. also, the theme--how revenge affects a person--is similar in both movies.
yeah, batman begins was a pretty sweet origin story. it warmed my heart that they actually bothered to explain how he got all his gadgets!
