2006 book 115

Lemony Snicket's The End
And another entertaining series comes to an end--in quite an unexpected way. Not all the questions raised by the previous 12 books are answered, but it's still a satisfying resolution to a series whose last few books had taken all sorts of exciting twists and turns.

I love that you went out, bought a book, then read it cover to cover, in the time it took me to make a two tables in Excel. (MIke)

I actually bought it over lunch--although i read the latest entertainment weekly first after getting home from work. i'm not sure if that makes things better or worse!

anyway, excel tables suck.

Okay, is it just me, or do you think Daniel Handler watches "Lost"? His repeated declarations that the islanders refuse to question the status quo is suspiciously similar to viewer complaints about lost. Or maybe I just watch too much TV :)

I didn't get that impression (I stopped watching Lost after season 1, so it's not really on my mind), but it does make sense! ;)
